CAMBRIDGE FUTSAL NEWS

So as the season ends, the inaugural Cambridgeshire Invitation Cup is played and the first trial for next season’s new squad is concluded, our attentions drawn to the club AGM (details to be announced)…before we start all over again for season 2026/27! Thank you to everyone involved👏…in creating futsal playing opportunities for the people of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire & the surrounding area. It’s 🐝n a blast!

With their respective League campaigns now over, the Final match of their season sees the 2 major local futsal clubs in the County go head to head for the inaugural playing of the “Cambridgeshire Invitation Futsal Cup” Doors open at the St Ivo Centre at 2pm for 2 youth showcase matches between the clubs. Should 🐝 a great event so make sure you’re there to support it!👏

The final FA NFS T2S match of season 2025/26 sees the 🐝 travel the short journey into Hertfordshire to play a young & talented Bloomsbury B team. Considering the scoreline the last time these teams met, Cambridge will be travelling with a point to prove!

The penultimate match of the season sees the 🐝 playing the leagues 3rd placed team, London International who, as their name suggests, is full of talented international players. Should 🐝 a cracker so why not pop over to Arena Bedford and enjoy the 300 seat indoor venue to watch your local futsal team…still the only dedicated futsal club in Cambridgeshire playing in the FA National Futsal Series!

Come along this Sunday & 🐝 there to cheer on your local futsal team in their penultimate home fixture as they take on East London based Baku Utd, the most successful UEFA Futsal Champions League England based futsal club in history! Should 🐝 a cracker!

Our next Men’s 1st Team match sees a long journey to the south coast to play mid table Southampton Athletic who will no doubt be seeking revenge for their loss at the Home of the 🐝 earlier in the season.

Next match sees the 🐝 travel the short distance into Essex for what is virtually a season “Cup Final” for both teams at the foot of the FA National Futsal Series T2 (South). Could be a cracker!

Next match this Sunday sees the 🐝’s making the long trip West to Bristol who are performing well in their 1st season in the FA National Futsal Series T2 (South). Can the Men from the East gain revenge for the home loss earlier in the season?🤷‍♂️🤞

Our Men’s 1st team’s next match is away v league leaders West London (featuring internet ⭐️ LDN Movements with 1million You Tube subscribers!) Could there 🐝 a surprise sting inflicted on the Capital’s hosts from the visitors from the East of England?

Our next match see’s a visit from Essex seaside club Sporting Club Southend who we last met with a loss on the first match of the season. This could 🐝 a cracker so make sure you can 🐝 there to cheer on your local team. KO 1:20pm at the Cambridge University Sports Centre CB3 0AS. Cafe open! ☕️

This Sunday see’s our Men’s 1st team travel the short distance to Milton Keynes to play our local rivals who are currently storming the league with a surprise victory last week v league leaders & anticipated champions, West London (led by the social media influencer with 1million You Tube followers) Should 🐝 fun!

The New Year of 2026 brings a fresh second half to the season for the 🐝 with a home fixture v newly promoted Dorset. Make sure you can 🐝 there…and bring a friend or two!

This Sunday (NB.later kick off than normal) sees Cambridge host at the University Sports Centre CB3 0AS a London Bloomsbury B team flying in the National Futsal Series T2S with some great recent results. Should 🐝 a Christmas Cracker! 420pm kick off (doors open 4pm). Balcony seating only.

This Sunday sees the 🐝 host at Bedford Uni (Sat Nav MK41 9EA) the “Harlem Globe Trotters” of the futsal world and league leaders West London featuring a galaxy of England’s top futsal talent and featuring YouTube & Instagram influencer Jamie Shawyer who has 1million followers! 300 seats in the warm & dry. KO 1320hrs 🐝 there…and bring the kids as they will know Jamie & most of the LDN team!

This Sunday sees Cambridge host our visitors from the south coast, Southampton Athletic. Make sure you can 🐝 there! Balcony viewing (seating available) and cafe open! ☕️ KO 120pm (Doors Open 1pm)

Next match sees the 🐝 travel down to East London to play old adversaries Baku (Previously Newnham Baku) who are just above the visitors at the bottom of the table. 6pointer? Possibly!

The next Men’s 1st Team match see’s the 🐝 travel to the capital to play newly promoted London International who have started the seasonal as well as expected being a team based in the capital.
