Our Women's team was in Aldershot last Friday night to take on Rushmoor in the first leg of round 1 of this season's FA National Futsal Series Women’s Super Series League Cup competition.
An end to end first half saw both teams attack fluently and ended 5-5. The home side came out of the break the better side finding success with a full court press to take a commanding lead, but the Bees fought back towards the end to come away with an 11-8 defeat and keep the tie alive.
Natashe Collins was the standout player of the game for the Bees with 4 goals, including one from a direct freekick.
The second leg of the tie will be played at Cambridge University Sports Hall this Saturday the 22nd of April K.O. 1230pm. Viewing balcony only will be open for spectators.
