End of season update

Lots of activity at the club since the last men’s First team home victory v Baku Utd at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre which secured a mid table finish in FA NFS Tier 2 South.

The Academy has been busy competing in the Pokémon FA Futsal Youth Cup and the LNFSengland Youth Cup National Finals with the U.12 boys finishing as Eastern Regional Champions! Fantastic achievement from all involved in the Academy with the season being topped off by Head Academy Coach, Dr Colin Baker being named as Cambs FA “Volunteer of the Year.”

The newly formed Women’s First Team has been training hard under the watchful eye of Head Coach/Player Paris Brixey preparing for their first season in the FA National Futsal Series Women’s competition. They have completed a number of friendly fixtures against other local futsal clubs and are even due to play a friendly soon against the FA England Women’s Deaf futsal team!

The Club’s AGM was recently held with a good attendance and a number of new volunteer appointments to the MC which is most welcome to share the ever growing work load.

Lots of activity in gaining & securing new partners & sponsors for season 2022/23 which should allow the club to generously continue to offer FREE ENTRY to our home fixtures, details of which are waiting to be confirmed by the FA National Futsal Series.

If anyone is interested in getting involved with the club as a player, coach, partner or sponsor, please don’t hesitate to get in touch…and not forgetting our Go Fund Me page for those who like what we are doing & can help our “not for profit” sports club financially…no matter how small the contribution!
