An early trip down to East London’s indoor ScoreCenter (opposite Leyton Orient FC football ground) saw Cambridge Futsal Club take on Estudiantes London in the latest round of the FA National Futsal Series Super Cup (South).
With the home sides new Brazilian signings, the Bee’s soon found themselves 2-0 down in the first half, dominated by one opposition player with superb balance, strength & speed.
However, the visitors were not to be overcome that easy and managed to claw back level with goals from ALFONSO Lanza & Jonny TOFTS.
This was short lived however as within a minute the home sides Brazilian wizard had managed to shoot past goal keeper Chay JAKES and saw his shot deflected into the net by TOFTS racing back to cover the line.

Second half saw an even contest regarding attempts on goal but the clinical & composed finishing of the experienced home side saw them score 3 more goals as the Bees attempted to get back into the game and then dictate possession & pace of the game to see out their home win.

Next match for the Bees is in a fortnight at home (University of Cambridge Sports Centre) with a league encounter v Loughborough.
